Judith "Judy" L. Kratko, formerly of Fisher Hill passed away in her daughter's home at 5:18 a.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016, with her daughter by her side. She was 72.

Mrs. Kratko was born September 18, 1944, in Sharon, a daughter of Wilbert Peter and Margaret Loretta Walsh Pryts.

She was a lifelong area resident and 1962 graduate of Sharon High School.

Judy was employed by Packard Electric Division of General Motors Co., Warren, OH, where she worked as an inspector for 34 years before retiring in 1997.

She was a lifetime member of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.

Judy enjoyed shopping and attending craft shows with her daughter. She loved animals, whom always took a liking to her, and most importantly, she enjoyed being with her family, particularly the time she shared with her granddaughter.

Surviving are: a daughter, Shalia Anne Koehl and her husband John, Sharon; two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Cave and her husband, James; and Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Sakony, all Sharon; a granddaughter, Carina Elizabeth Koehl, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Judy was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerome "Jerry" Pryts, Thomas Pryts and Edward "Ted" Pryts; a nephew, Joseph Sakony; and her former husband, Ronald M. Kratko.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of the Valley and a special friend, Colleen Davis, for taking exceptional care of Judy.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 225 Villa Marie Rd., Villa Marie PA 16115.

Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday (12-1-16) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday (12-2-16) in Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, with Rev. Henry Andrea, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
