Judith Mae Murphy Bewley of 441 Cedar Ave., Sharon, passed away unexpectedly on her birthday, Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 30, 2013, in her home. She was 56. Judy was born Oct. 30, 1957, in Sharon, a daughter of John and Mary Phyllis States Murphy. She was a raised in the Patagonia section of Hermitage and was a 1976 graduate of Hickory High School. Following her graduation, she was employed by the former Golden Dawn Foods for many years. She later worked for a brief period of time at Brookfield Local School District and a local nursing home. She was a social member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5286 and the Slovak Home, both Farrell. Judy enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish. Surviving are: her longtime companion, William Gagliardi, at home; a sister, Colleen Swartz and her fiancé Blair Sweet, Pulaski; two brothers, John O. Murphy and his wife Mary Ann, Farrell; and Patrick M. Murphy and his wife Eileen "Chicky," Sharon; a niece, Patricia Nagel and her husband Daniel, Sharon; and a nephew, John Marc Murphy and his wife Elizabeth, York, Pa. Judy was preceded in death by her parents. Calling hours: There are no calling hours.
