Judith Ann Bator, 74, of Hermitage passed away surrounded by friends and family Friday morning, September 29, 2023, in her home, following a courageous seven-year battle with cancer.

Ms. Bator was born September 13, 1949, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Paul Andrew and Ann Eleanor (Vozar) Bator. A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Farrell High School in 1967 and remained active in the Farrell Alumni Association.

Judy worked in banking for more than 50 years. She spent the majority of her career working as a proof operator and data entry clerk for McDowell National Bank, Sharon, and later worked for First National Bank, Hermitage, in the mortgage department.

Judy was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, and formerly a longtime member of St. Ann's Church, Farrell. She was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association.

An avid reader, Judy also enjoyed crafting and traveling, especially with dear friends.

She is survived by a brother, Gerald Bator (Diane), West Middlesex; a nephew, Marc Bator (Abby); a niece, Michelle Piccirilli (Chris); two great-nieces; two great-nephews; a cousin, Frances Chervinko; and dear lifelong friends, Anita Primavera (Gary), Frani Foust, Donna DeBonis.

The family would like to thank Judy's caregivers, neighbors, friends, co-workers, nurses of the UPMC Oncology Dept., Dr. Spielvogel, and Gentiva Hospice for their exceptional care, kindness, and friendship.

Judy will be remembered for her endless kindness, generosity, and ability to put others' needs before her own.

Mass of Christian Burial will be immediately following at noon, in the church, with Rev. Richard Allen, as celebrant.
