Obituary

Judith B. Aiello, 86, of Sharpsville, formerly of Sharon, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020, in Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, Warren, OH.

Mrs. Aiello was born September 26, 1933, in Johnstown, PA, one of fifteen children born to the late James and Irene (Carns) Thompson. She was educated in Johnstown and helped raise several of her younger siblings.

Judy volunteered at Musser Elementary in Sharon for many years. The delight of her later years was being with her granddaughters. In her retirement, Judy became an avid reader, reading over 30 books a year. One of her original wise quotes was "Life is good as long as we don't weaken."

Her first husband, Donald Gene Devlin, passed away in 1968. Judy later married, Carmen J. Aiello, on August 21, 1968, who passed away November 25, 2013.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Allyn) Mosher, of Breckenridge, CO, and Lisa Rene' Aiello, of Sharpsville; three sons, Curt (Sue) Devlin, of Pittsburgh, Stephen (Janet) Devlin, of Longview, WA, and Carmen (Leigh) Aiello, both of Sharpsville; seven grandchildren, Brian, Dan, James, Aaron and Sean Devlin, and Lauren and Bethany Aiello; two sisters, Wanda and Romayne; and five brothers, Jim, Carl, Chuck, Sonny and Jack.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, Judy was preceded in death by six sisters, Ruth, Hazel, Phyllis, Shirley, Joyce and Marlene; and a brother, Roy.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to First United Methodist Church of Sharon, 237 West Silver St., Sharon, PA 16146.
