Joyce Boldt, 84, formerly of Farrell, passed away Friday morning, April 4, 2025, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Warren, OH.

Mrs. Boldt was born on January 17, 1941, in Farrell, a daughter of the late Emil and Madeline (Cervenak) Hudak. She was a 1958 graduate of Farrell High School.

For many years, she worked for McDowell Bank's former Hermitage location, where she began as a teller and then later headed the mailroom in the downtown Sharon location.

Joyce enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Faria (Walter), of New Castle, and Susan Morgan (James), of Venice, FL; a son, David Rupert (Yamei Wang), of Brookfield, OH; six grandchildren, Benjamin Faria, Tyler Faria (Jennifer), Jennifer Black (Cody), Mitchell and Alexis Morgan, and Amy Johnson (Dennis); and five great-grandchildren, Grayson, Cameron, Spencer, Lawrence and Walter. Also surviving is a sister, Leslie Hudak, of San Diego, CA; and a brother, Robert Hudak (Jane), of Venice, FL.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, John Boldt; and a great-granddaughter, Aleah Nicole Faria.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Activities Department of Continuing Healthcare of Niles, 2565 Niles Vienna Rd., Niles, OH 44446.
