Obituary

Josephine Mary Baborsky, Sharon, formerly of Patagonia, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 8:33 a.m. Sunday (8-26-12) at her residence. She was 93.

She was born February 17, 1919 in Pittsburgh the daughter of John Joseph Jablonski and Mary Zamrosik Jablonski.

She was a homemaker who had worked in her early years during the depression at the former Sotus Family Restaurant in downtown Sharon.

A devout catholic, she was a long time member of the Church of the Sacred Heart Church, Sharon, and she currently belonged to Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann's Church, Farrell. She also enjoyed attending Queen of the Holy Rosary in Vienna, Ohio where the Liturgy is still celebrated in Latin. She belonged to the World Apostolate of Fatima (Blue Army). Along with her children, she was blessed to have been able to make several religious pilgrimages in her lifetime including one to the Holy Land. She was a generous and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be remembered for her good sense of humor.

Her husband Albert William Baborsky whom she married on June 14, 1941, passed away on September 20, 1985.

She leaves her two daughters, Mary Ann Cameron and her husband William P., Warren, OH, and Josephine Marie Goldman, Longmont, CO, two sons, William Albert Baborsky, and John Joseph Baborsky, both of Sharon. She also leaves her sister Mary Myers and her husband Frank, Burghill, Ohio, and her brother Walter Jablonski and his wife Caroline, Brookfield, OH, seven grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in law, Dennis Goldman, three sisters, Leona Jablonski, Anna Simeon, and Genevieve Rakoci, and two brothers, John and Felix Jablonski.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Masses be made in her memory to either Our Lady of Fatima- St. Ann's Church 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, or to Queen of the Holy Rosary 291 Scoville Dr. Vienna, OH 44473.

Calling hours: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (8-29-12) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, where the rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday (8-30-12) at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann's Church, Farrell, with Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor as celebrant. A brief prayer service will begin at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home prior to leaving for the church.

Interment: St Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
