Joe S. Nagy

Joe S. Nagy, 61, of Sharon, passed away due to cancer on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in Kadima of Greenville.

Mr. Nagy was born on September 16, 1964, in Farrell, a son of the late Joe and Edna Mae (Derr) Nagy. He was a 1982 graduate of Joseph Badger High School, Kinsman, OH.

In the 1990’s, he moved to Florida, where he ran a Firestone Store. In 2012, Joe came back home to the Shenango Valley and managed the Automotive Department in the Hermitage Walmart. Eventually, he went back to Firestone at its Hermitage location.

Joe had a passion for Race Cars and was an avid fan of NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt. He also deeply loved his pets, which included his dog, Maddie, and his cats.

He married his wife, the former Michele Cidila, on June 16, 2007. She survives.

He is also survived by a step-daughter, Milinda Reinfeld and her husband, Kyle, of Mechanicsburg, PA; a step-granddaughter, Daphne Reinfeld; and three cousins, June Heilman, of Transfer, Kristan Fowler, of Lakeland, FL, and Mark Simons, of Greenville, PA.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to an animal shelter of the donor's choice.
