Joseph Arthur Mikulin of 15 Pierce Ave. Sharpsville, PA. passed away at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in his residence. He was 32.

Mr. Mikulin was born in Farrell, PA on November 14, 1977, a son of Steven and Rose Marie Truchan Mikulin.

He graduated from Sharon High School in 1996 and went on to earn his Associates degree in mechanical engineering from ITT Technical School.

Joe worked for Estes Express Line as a dock worker for the past 5 years.

He was an AVID fisherman and hunter; he loved spending time in the outdoors, and enjoyed woodworking. Most of all he loved his family and friends, and was a wonderful father, husband, son, & brother.

Survivors include: his wife Dai Ann James Mikulin, whom he married, May 7, 2005; 2 sons, Lucas Joseph and Kaleb James Mikulin both at home; mother, Rose Marie and her husband Thomas McClimans of Hermitage, PA; father, Steven and his wife Cindy Mikulin of Sharpsville, PA;; a brother, Ryan Steven Mikulin of Hermitage, PA; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Stephanie Truchan of Hermitage, PA; paternal grandmother, Nancy Kapec of Hermitage, PA. He is also survived by his dog Bailey.

He was preceded in death by: paternal grandfather, Steve Mikulin; a step-paternal grandfather Carl Kapec

Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.. in the funeral home with Rev. Albert Librizzi pastor of Barnstone Ministries, New Bedford, PA.

Cremation is to take place following the service in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Shenango Valley Foundation, 33 Chestnut Ave. Sharon, PA 16146. for an education fund for his children.
