Joseph Rocco Lisner of 211 W. Moody Ave. New Castle, went to heaven on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1:00 a.m. in his residence. He was 48.
Mr. Lisner was born in New Castle on January 7, 1962, a son of Joseph and Carmella Minetti Lisner.
He graduated from Poland Seminary High School in Poland, OH. Following graduation, Joseph was a cabinet maker by trade at Lisner Cabinets, which was a family business for over 35 years in Poland, OH.
Joseph was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of Mt. Nebo Sportsman's Club.
He will be sadly missed by his father, Joseph and his companion Rose Eller of Poland, OH; a brother, James and his wife Jill Lisner of Boardman, OH; 2 sisters, Kathy Scheafnocker of Austintown, OH, and Annamarie Cash of Georgia; Joe's companion, Mary Smith of New Castle; Also surviving is 4 nieces, a nephew, and Mary's Children and grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, Joseph was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Rocco and Elizabeth Minetti and Andrew and Anna Lisner.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 111 W. Falls St. New Castle, PA 16101.
A memorial mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in Mary Mother of Hope Parish ? St. Mary's Church with Rev. Victor J. Molka. Everyone attending the funeral mass is asked to go directly to the church.
Inurnment will take place in Poland River Side Cemetery.
