Jonine "Neaner" Borko of Hermitage passed away unexpectedly at 7 p.m. Monday (11-2-15) in her residence. She was 51. Mrs. Borko was born July 5, 1964, in Sharon and was raised by Peter and Edna Laycock Klein. She graduated from Hickory High School, Hermitage, and attended the former Shenango Valley Business School where she obtained an associate's degree in accounting. Jonine was previously employed by Keystone Blind Association, Sharon, now Hermitage. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Girard, Ohio, and its relief society. She was also a member of the Hallmark Club. Neaner enjoyed crafts, mostly scrapbooking. She is survived by her husband, John Borko, whom she married Oct. 20, 1990. Also surviving are: two stepdaughters, Chris Plummer and her husband Barry, Farrell; and Beth Schupp and her husband Ron, Mercer; a stepson, Brad Borko and his fiance' Heather, Farrell; two sisters, Melinda VanSickle and her husband Steve, and Coleene Anthony, all Sheakleyville; a brother, Shane Ricketts and his wife Christie, Rock Creek, Ohio; seven stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Genevieve, Kaitlyn, Adrienne, Nathan, Sarah and Lauren Schupp; a great-niece; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Edna Klein; her birth mother, Sandra Lightner; and a stepgrandson, Isaac. Calling hours: 11 a.m. to time of service Friday (11-6-15) in J.
