Jonathan M. Hail, of Carnegie, PA, formerly of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in his residence. He was 47.

Jon was born February 27, 1971, in Oakland, CA, a son of Norman L. Hail, Jr. and Wilma (Little) Hail. He was a 1990 graduate of Greenville High School and studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Jon was of the protestant faith. An artist and musician, he enjoyed computer art, oil paintings and playing the drums. Jon also liked spending time fishing and playing midget football when he was younger.

He is survived by his father, Norman L. Hail, Jr. and his wife Eve, Kennesaw, GA; his mother, Wilma D. Hail, Greenville; paternal grandmother, Ruby Hail, Oklahoma; a brother, Norman L. Hail, III, Greenville; and two uncles, Norman Huffman and his wife Linda, Greenville; and Gary Hail and his wife Vicki, Oklahoma.

Jon was preceded in death by two aunts, Ruth Gault, and Sherry Hail Bennington; and three uncles, Donald C. Huffman, Thomas W. Little, and Dennis Gault.

Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday (06/10/2018) and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday (06/11/2018) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, in the funeral home with Rev. Joel Diangi, pastor of Greenville Christian Assembly, officiating.
