Obituary

John B. "JB" Stevenson of 7049 E. State St. Hermitage, PA, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Friday. He was 30.
Mr. Stevenson was born in Youngstown, OH on August 3, 1978, a son of John B. Gilkey and Florence (Stevenson) Aiken.
He graduated high school in Toledo, OH.
JB was employed at Warren Fabricating for the past 10 years as a welder and key bar fitter. He was accepted on November 3rd into the Brotherhood of the Pipefitters Union Local 798 out of Oklahoma.
He was an avid Steelers fan and NASCAR enthusiast. He also enjoyed coaching Peewee Baseball, hunting, and poker.
Survivors include: His wife, Louanna (Sternthal) Stevenson, whom he married August 14, 2004; 2 daughters, Faith Stevenson from a previous marriage and Julianne "Morgie" Stevenson; a son, John Burton "Johnny" Stevenson II at home; His mother, Florence and her husband James "Dick" Aiken; 2 sisters, Misty Stevenson and his twin sister Lisa Stevenson both of Mercer; 2 brothers Michael Aiken of Sharon, PA and James Gilkey of Coal Twp., PA; In-Laws, Lori and David Vasconi II and Michael and Rosemarie Sternthal; 5 nephews and 1 niece; He is also survived by his American Bull Dog Jack.
He was preceded in death by: his father; his maternal grandparents, Marvin and Mary Jane Stevenson; paternal grandparents, Helen and John Gilkey.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 1090 E. State St. Sharon. With Rev. John Trojak, Pastor of 1st Baptist Church of Sharon. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brookfield Twp. Cemetery.
