John L. Perrine, Sr., Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Friday (12-2-11) at his residence. He was 55.
Mr. Perrine was born April 19, 1956 in New Castle, PA a son of the late John H. and Eleanor J. Rickard Perrine.
He was a 1975 graduate of Sharon High School.
John was employed for many years as a technician at the former Chautauqua Fabrication plant in Sharpsville and previously worked at the Columbiana (Ohio) Foundry. He was also proficient at repairing furniture and at one time worked for Laskey Furniture, Sharon, and the former Zolton Furniture, Hermitage. An outdoorsman, John loved hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and going to a camp near Oil City with his family and friends.
His wife, the former Debra A. Gaborko, whom he married November 14, 1977, passed away April 3, 2007.
He was a caring father to his two sons who reside with him, John L. Perrine, Jr. and Scott A. Perrine. In addition to his sons, he leaves a sister, Sharon Oakes and her husband Ralph, Sharpsville; and his father-in-law, Harold Gaborko, Sharon.
Besides his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by a brother, Robert A. Rickard; and a sister, Frances A. Trimble.
Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday (12-6-11) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dominic Verdell, associate pastor of Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage, officiating.
