John Vincent Pavone, formerly of Farrell, passed away on October 12, 201 ft.8, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he had lived for the past 25 years.
He was born January 16, 1943, a son of the late Patrick and Marion (Cheza) Pavone.
John was a 1960 graduate of Farrell High School and remained in the Shenango Valley for many years. He worked as a fireman in Sharon, was very active in the Shenango Valley Jaycees, and was a devout member of St. Ann's Church in Farrell.
John retired from the United States Air Force Reserve following more than 20 years of service.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia McMahon, Hermitage; a nephew, Dr. John (Dr. Erin Kelly) McMahon; a niece Kathleen (Dr. Peter) Motolenich; two great nieces and two great nephews.

Calling hour will be noon until the time of service Saturday, April 13, 2019, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, in the funeral home, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, officiating.
Interment: St. Ann's Cemetery, Hermitage.
