John "Jack" T. Moore of West Salem Township passed away unexpectedly
Wednesday
afternoon (2-17-16) of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was 52.
Jack was born May 17, 1963, in Sharon, a son of William L. and Geraldine Smith Moore.
He was a 1982 graduate of Jamestown High School and received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Thiel College, Greenville, in 1986.
He `was a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) for Orange Village Care Center, Masury, for the past 10 years and previously worked for six years at the Verland Foundation.
A family man, Jack cherished the time he spent with his wife and children and loved cooking breakfast for them on weekends and traveling to different places such as Comic Con, Graceland and most recently, Disney World.
He was looking forward to vacationing in Washington D.C. this coming summer.
He also enjoyed fishing and classic cars.
Surviving is his loving wife, the former Bonnie Lynn Salance, whom he married July 22, 2000; two children whom he adored, Kaylee Rose Moore, a freshman at Reynolds High School; and Ryan Thomas Moore, a 7
th
grader at Reynolds Junior High School; his mother, Gerry Moore, Jamestown; two brothers, William J. Moore, Greenville; and Stephen P. Moore, Jamestown; his mother-in-law, Mildred Salance, Hermitage; and sisters- and brothers-in-law, Mildred Marie "Milly" Salance and Michaeline "Micky" Hetrick and her husband David, all Hermitage; Andrew Michael "Andy" Salance, Sharpsville; Karen Sue McGhee and her husband Steven, Gallipolis, Ohio; and Paula Jean Salance, also Hermitage.
Jack was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, David Francis Moore and Michael Shane Moore; and his father-in-law, Michael G. Salance.

Interment: Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
