John Lewis Kosmowski, of Juniper Village, Sharon, and formerly of Hamilton, OH, and Fredonia (Mercer County), passed away peacefully at 6:05 a.m. Sunday (9-20-15) in Butler Visiting Nurses Association Hospice Impatient Unit following an extended illness. He was 80. He was born August 16th, 1935 in Fredonia the son of John and Anna Grabika Kosmowski. He was raised in Fredonia and graduated from the former Fredonia Delaware High School. He served his country as a United States Marine Corp Reservist. John retired from McClean Trucking where he worked as a truck driver. He was of the Protestant faith. John enjoyed golfing with his friends, a good game of Euchre, and eating at the Middlesex Diner, his favorite local restaurant. Surviving are his two sons, John A Kosmowski and his wife Annette, Mercer, and Dale L. Kosmowski, Greenville, his four grandchildren, Blake Kosmowski and Blair Kosmowski, Jesse Jones, and Jamie Kosmowski, two sisters, Alice Gladysz, Greenville, and Sophie Micsky, Fredonia, and one brother, Frank Kosmowski, Fredonia. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marcella Zigo, and his parents. Calling hours and services: In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
