John "Jack" E. Kane of West Middlesex, formerly of Hubbard, OH, passed away
Monday
afternoon, December 11, 2017, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 57.
Mr. Kane was born January 30, 1960, in Youngstown, OH, a son of William J
. and Eileen A. (Mahoney) Kane. He was a 1978 graduate of Ursuline High School, Youngstown, and 1980 graduate of I.T.T. Technical College, Youngstown, where he earned an associate's degree in drafting and design.
Jack retired as a Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force in 1991, after serving for 9 years. While in the military he worked as a flight mechanic and served in Desert Storm.
Jack was a member of the VFW, West Middlesex.
He had exceptional artistic talent, and loved to create ink pen sketches.
Surviving are: his companion, Rhonda Shardy, with whom he made his home, West Middlesex; three sisters, Kathleen Lambert and her husband Bo, Spring Hill, FL; Theresa Raeburn and her husband Rick, Warren, OH; and Mary Kane, Hubbard, OH; two brothers, William Kane, Jr., Morrisville, NC; and Michael Kane and his wife Kim, Struthers, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours.
A private memorial service will be held by his family.
