John C. Grace, 85, of Sharpsville passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 23, 2024, in UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Mr. Grace was born August 4, 1938, in Farrell, a son of the late John and Margaret (Krlin) Grace.

For 35 years, John worked at Packard Electric, a Division of General Motors Co., retiring in 1997.

During his younger years, he enjoyed spending time outdoors while boating at the Shenango Dam and hunting deer in the fall. More recently, he spent his days admiring cars, reading, or watching movies. John was well known for his dynamic sense of humor and ability to bring kindness and laughter to any situation.

Above all else, John loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

John is survived by a daughter, Kristine Cilas (David), Clark, PA; a son, Kevin Grace (Lori), Hermitage; three grandchildren, Joshua Cilas (Stacy), Samantha Cilas (fiancé, Gernie Parker), and Nickolas Grace; six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Evelyn, Decker, Harper, Gernie, and Joslyn.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Fran Doddo (Butch); and his former spouse, Peggy (McKeel) Grace.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to The Salvation Army, 660 Fisher Hill St., Sharon, PA 16146; or Sharpsville Vol. Fire Dept., 214 Main St., Sharpsville, PA 16150.
