John Ronald Colello of Sharpsville passed away Thursday afternoon, May 24, 2018, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio, after an extended illness.  He was 74.

Ronnie was born September 2, 1943, in Sharon, a son of John and Lena (Matteo) Colello.  He was a lifelong area resident and attended Sharon High School.  Music was a big part of Ronnie's life.  He enjoyed listening to many different bands and played the accordion when he was younger.

Surviving are his brother, Michael Colello and his companion Paula Jones, of Sharon; several nieces and nephews; and a great niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph and Jack Colello; a sister, Jeanne Phillips; and his step-father, John Kelly.

Ronnie will be remembered by many as a kind and good hearted soul.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas PL, Memphis, TN 38105.

There are no calling hours.

A private family service will be held.
