Obituary

John Busco of Hermitage passed away unexpectedly at 5:08 a.m. Saturday (12-12-15) in the intensive care unit of Sharon Regional Health System of complications following surgery.  He was 52.

Mr. Busco was born June 25, 1963, in Sharon, a son of Nick J. and Rose L. Gagliardi Busco.

He was a lifelong area resident and a 1981 graduate of Hickory High School.

John was an auto body paint specialist for more than thirty years and employed by his cousin, Bob Doddato, at Tri City Collision in Sharon.  He previously worked at Advanced Auto Body, Sharon; and Mel Grata, Hermitage.

John was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon, and a volunteer in its food pantry.  He was also a Free and Accepted Mason and a member of Lodge #810, Hermitage.

A musician, he was a gifted guitar player (his favorite guitar was the fender telecaster) and proud to have passed along his love of music to his sons, who are also musicians.

John enjoyed golfing; was an avid hunter and fisherman; and a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

Years earlier, he was active in Hickory Little League where he was a member of its board of directors and served as a manager and coach for his sons teams.

Surviving are: his wife, the former Sherry A. Bright; two sons, who were the light of his life, David M. Busco and his fiancé Terra Brown, Masury; and Sean A. Busco, Hermitage, and his girlfriend Ellie Thompson, Reynolds; a sister, Patricia M. Hassel and her husband Edward, Grove City; and three brothers, Nick R. Busco, Sharon; Sam J. Busco, Milan, Ohio; and Anthony Busco, Hermitage.

He also leaves his father- and mother-in-law, Donald and Gaynell Bright, Hermitage; a sister-in-law, Laurie Stephens and her husband Lee, Columbus, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dogs, Daisy and Roman.

John was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Patty Lou Busco.
