John Anthony Bosco, 89, of Hermitage, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Heritage Manor in Youngstown, OH. Mr. Bosco was born February 18, 1929.

John was employed and retired from Sharon Steel's former Farrell Plant.

Mr. Bosco was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking, making two of his great-granddaughters magnificent dollhouses.  He was also a member of the Zem Zem Shrine Club.

In addition to his parents and sister, John is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Chaplin Bosco, whom he married February 13, 1948 in Elizabeth City, NC.

John is survived by a son, James P. Bosco and his wife, Allison, of Franklin, NC, three grandchildren, Timothy Bosco and wife Sarah of Greenville, SC, Jonathan Bosco and wife Michelle of Mardela Springs, MD and Tracy Million of Erie, PA, along with six great-grandchildren:  Jenna Million, Lucea Bosco, Jaelyn Million, Hudson Bosco, Greta Bosco and Helena Bosco.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Sharon Regional Health System Hospice, 1955 Shenango Valley Fwy, Hermitage, PA 16148.

Friends will have an opportunity to say goodbye to John at 2 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday, May 9 ^th at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be at 3p.m. in the funeral home.

Burial: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
