John Mark Bohach of 210 Walnut St. Sharpsville, PA, passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at 11:51 p.m. in Allegheny General Hospital with is family by his side. He was 52.
Mr. Bohach was born in Sharon, PA, on September 1, 1958, a son of John Raymond and Genevieve Bernadette Hermanowicz Bohach III.
He was a 1976 graduate of Farrell High School. Following high school he enrolled at Dunwoody Institute and graduate in 1978 with a degree in culinary arts.
John worked along side his father for over 25 years as a baker at Ideal Bakery in Farrell.
Mr. Bohach was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the Slovak Home and the Farrell VFW Post 6404. John was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and will be missed by his dog Sara.
He is survived by: his wife, Patt Haas Mickel Bohach, whom he married July 17, 1992; a daughter, Michelle and her husband Richard Gaffney of Hermitage, PA; a son, John Michael Bohach of Pittsburgh, PA; a step daughter, Kim and her husband Carl Roza-Peiera of Long Beach, CA; 3 sisters, Kathy Thomas of New Wilmington, PA, Rosemary Emery of Champion, OH, and Debbie and her husband Thomas Foster of Muncie, IN; He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by an infant son, Bartholomew Bohach; a step son, Christopher John Mickel.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Inurnment will be in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
