Jo Anne E. Boles of 176 Crawford Dr. Hermitage, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. in her residence. She was 74.

Mrs. Boles was born in Hermitage, PA on October 27, 1935, a daughter of Frank and Severina Gotzlin Steele.

Jo Anne attended Sacred Heart School and went on to attend Hickory High School.

She retired from Howell Industries after 10 years as a machine industry.

Mrs. Boles attended Grace Community Chapel with her son. She also was involved in Little League Women's Auxillaray. Jo Anne enjoyed fishing, birds, and riding motorcycles. Her biggest attribute was always being there for family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Boles Sr., whom she married December 19, 1958; 2 sons, Gerry Boles of Masury, OH, Harold and his wife Mary Kay Boles of Mechanicsburg, PA; 2 daughters, Patricia and her husband Roger Eckard of Transfer, PA; Cindy and her husband Robert Schweiss Jr. of Masury, OH; a brother, Frank Steele; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Jo Anne was preceded in death by a son, Edward F. Boles; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Martin; 4 brothers, Pat, John, Edward, and Victor Steele.

Calling Hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.

A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the funeral home, with Rev. Larry Haynes, pastor of Grace Chapel Community Church.
