Obituary
Jennie Joseph, formerly of Farrell, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage. She was 91.
Jennie was born February 27, 1927, in Farrell, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Angelicchio) Joseph. She was a lifelong Farrell resident and a 1945 graduate of Farrell High School.
Jennie retired in 1989 from the Farrell Area School District where she was a secretary for 15 years. She enjoyed reading and maintaining her home. Jennie was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, where she was a money counter for 25 years.
Surviving is her brother, Joseph Joseph and his wife Sandra, Sharpsville; and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by three sisters, Rose Sage, Lucy Mariani and Virginia Harakal; and three brothers, Anthony, Alfred and James Joseph.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, PA 16121 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage. Arrangements by J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
