Jeff was an active member of New Life Baptist Church, New Wilmington, where he served as a deacon. He was previously a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hermitage; Sharpsville United Methodist; and Lakeside E.C., Transfer. Jeff was always actively involved in his church's children's ministry and often served as a member of their respective finance committees.
A family man, he particularly enjoyed attending his grandchildren's many activities.
Jeff was honored to serve as the superintendent of Riverside Cemetery in Sharpsville, a responsibility he held for more than 30 years.
He is survived by a son, Curtis Young (Annie) Bryan, Geneva, OH; a daughter, Julie Ann (Todd) Meyer, Erie, PA; and seven grandchildren, Brandon, Alex and Michaela "Emmy" Bryan; Sarah and Lindsey Meyer; and Alexis and Isaac Northrop.
