Obituary
Jeanne J. O'Leary, 88, of New Castle passed away peacefully Thursday evening, March 7, 2019, in UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Mrs. O'Leary was born September 10, 1931, in New Castle, a daughter of the late William and Frances (Servatka) Sokevitz. She was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of New Castle High School.
Jeanne was formerly employed as a sales clerk at The Winner Department Store, Sharon, PA.
She was a long time member of St. Camillus de Lellis Parish, Neshannock Twp.
Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Edward J. O'Leary, whom she married September 20, 1952; two daughters, Lauren (Edward) O'Leary Tamulonis, of Poland, OH, and Elyce O'Leary, of New Castle; two grandchildren, Sean (Erica) Santiago and Caitlan Corbisello; and two great grandchildren, Mason and Malia Santiago.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday (3-23-19) in St. Camillus de Lellis Church, 314 W. Englewood Ave, New Castle, with Rev. William Siple, as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Castle.
