Jean Harakal Parshall, Greenfield Rd., Lackawannock Twp., passed away unexpectedl y Wednesd ay (5-11-16) at her residence following an extended illness. She was 80.

She was born March 24, 1936 in Sharon, the daughter of Henry and Regina H. Buccholz Harakal.

She was raised in Farrell and she graduated from Farrell High School.

Mrs. Parshall was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her husband Richard A. Parshall whom she married April 7, 1956, passed away April 10, 1991.

She leaves her two daughters, Della R. Connaroe and her husband David, Erie, Pa., and Carol J. Thompson and her husband Robert, Shenango Township, her son, David R. Parshall and his wife Betty, Murrysville, Pa., a brother, Rick Harakal and his wife Paula, South Carolina, and a sister, Gerturde Rococi, South Pymatuning, five grandchildren, Greg (Misty), Kevin, Harry, Bobby, and Elizabeth, three great grandchildren, Victoria, Angelina, and Waylon.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
