Jean M. Livermore, of Hermitage, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016, in UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was 71.
Mrs. Livermore was born December 9, 1944, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Francis W. Butler and Margaret Mae (Fox) Butler.
Jean was a 1962 graduate of Wilmington Area High School. Following high school she earned her license in cosmetology at Cheena's Beauty School, Sharpsville.
Jean was a homemaker but also cut hair in her home.
Growing up, Jean's family were members of Pulaski United Methodist Church.
More recently, she was a member of Salvation Army, Sharon. Jean was proud to serve for the local Red Bird Mission, helping families in need.
Jean was a painter, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, especially the bible, traveling and spending time with her girlfriends.
Surviving are: her husband, Edward Nolan Livermore, whom she married December 31, 1964; their three daughters, Lisa Jean D'Urso and her husband Richard, Greenville; Noleen Susann Moore and her husband Gregory, Hanoverton, OH; and Mary Ann Livermore and her companion, Brandon Cross, Brookfield, OH; five grandchildren, Aynnalise and Alyssandra Moore; Elke and Taylor D'Urso; and James Brown; two sisters, Kathryn Foreman, Sharpsville; and Roxine Garrett, Pulaski; a brother, Robert Butler and his wife Barb, Masury, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sandra K. Butler.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Salvation Army, 660 Fisher Hill St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Calling hours are Monday (11/14/2016) from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St, Sharon.
Funeral services will be Monday (11/14/2016) at 12:00 p.m, in the funeral home, with Captain Michael Jung, from the Salvation Army, officiating.
