Jayne Irene Reichard of Jackson Center passed away unexpectedly
Sunday
morning (12-20-15) of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was 47.
Mrs. Reichard was born October 4, 1968, in Sharon, a daughter of Rev. Edward A. Kucera and Irene E. (Janovic) Kucera.
She graduated with honors in 1987 from Sharon High School where she was a member of its choir and cross country team.
Jayne attended Penn State University, Sharon, for two years and was a cheerleader for its basketball team.
She then matriculated to Penn State University's main campus where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 1991.
While attending Penn State, she studied at the Hershey Medical Center her senior year.
Jayne began her nursing career at North Side Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio, and then worked in the same capacity for two years in Harrisburg.
She has been employed as a medical surgery nurse at Grove City Hospital for the past fifteen years.
Jayne was a lifelong active member of St.'s Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sharon, where her father was pastor for 32 years.
During this time she served as a

school teacher, was active in the youth program and Vacation Bible School and played the piano for
Sunday
school.
Jayne was a wonderful mother to her son and the two of them loved walking their dog, Radar.
She also enjoyed vegetable gardening and cooking.
Surviving is her husband, John D. Reichard, whom she married August 2, 1997; a son, Evan Daniel Reichard, a 6th grade student at Lakeview Elementary School; her father and mother, Rev. Edward and Irene Kucera, Hermitage; a sister, Karen I. Kolnik and her husband Wil, St. Louis, MO; her father- and mother-in-law, Dan W. and Carla M. Reichard, Hadley; two sisters-in-law, Robyn L. Nunemaker and her husband Herbie, Sheakleyville; and Rene L. Reichard, Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Jayne was a kind and loving woman who always went the extra mile for others.
