Janet Almeda Kelley, 62, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in her home.

Mrs. Kelley was born September 24, 1962, in Rochester, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph Richard and Martha (Tedrow) Santangelo. She attended New Castle Sr. High School.

Janet enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, word searches, playing Bingo, and cooking. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Janet is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Justin) Kelley, and Stephanie (Scott) Kelley; two sons, Robert Kelley, and Franklin (Vicki) Kelley; three sisters, Mary (Brad) McMasters, Ginger (Mike) Wilson, and Jean Ross; two brothers, Robert (Patty) Richard, and Joseph Richard; 15 grandchildren, Kayla, Joseph, Isabella, Justin JR., Keara, Jason, Jackie, Jaina, Issac, Selena, Malik, Mason, Alexis, Noah, and Shyann; and one great-granddaughter, Everly.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by a fiancé, Billie Kerr.
