Janel Rauso-Miller, 49, of Wheatland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2018, in her home.

Janel was born July 16, 1969, in Grove City, a daughter of James and Judith (Reed) Rauso. She graduated with honors from Sharpsville High School in 1987, where she was a cheerleader and majorette. Janel also graduated from Bradford Business School in Pittsburgh.

She was employed for several years as an office manager at UPMC Horizon, Shenango Valley. Janel had a passion and commitment to Camp Ho Mita Koda, in Newbury, Ohio, that assists children with diabetes. Not only did Janel learn how to live, manage and be independent with diabetes, but she created many lifelong friendships.

Janel was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hermitage. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 432, Wheatland. Her family and friends always came first and she cherished the times spent with them. She had a beautiful voice and was very creative and talented. One of her hobbies was designing and making Halloween costumes.

She is survived by her parents, James and Judith Rauso; a sister, Jamie (Randy) Pietrantonio; a brother-in-law, Marc Mastroianni, all of Hermitage; two nephews and godsons, Jacob (Kimberly) Moore and Joshua Moore; three great nieces, Hannah, Kinley and Kiley Moore; a great nephew, Jayden Moore; two aunts, Regina (Carl) Chiafullo, and Madeline Gurneal; and several cousins.

Janel was preceded in death by a sister, Jodi Mastroianni; maternal grandmother, Nell Rickard; paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Rauso; and several aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be 3 p.m. until the time of the service Friday (09/07/2018) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 5 p.m. Friday, in the funeral home with Rev. Gary Nelson, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.

Interment: America's Cemetery, Hermitage.
