Jane M Yeager

Jane M. Yeager, 84, of Sharon, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.

Mrs. Yeager was born on April 23, 1942, in Sharon, a daughter of the late George and Catherine (Christianson) Bebic. A lifelong area resident, she attended the former St. Joseph’s Parochial Grade School and was a 1960 graduate of Sharon High School.

She worked at JCPenney Department Store in the former Shenango Valley Mall, retiring in 2005, with nearly 30 years of service.

An avid reader, she had a love for animals, especially her dogs. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family and always looked forward to the Christmas season.

Jane was a member of St. Anthony’s Church, Sharon. Additionally, she volunteered for many years at the Salvation Army, Sharon.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Darrell Yeager, whom she married on November 10, 1962; a daughter, Beth Olson, of Meridian, ID; two sons, Rick Yeager (Maryanne), of West Middlesex, and Rob Yeager, of Farrell; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Gamble, of Erie, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Kosarko; and a sister, Fran Shuck.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday (09/25/2026) in St. Anthony’s Church, 804 Idaho St., Sharon, with Rev. James Power, pastor, officiating.
