Jan Kerr Runcan, Shawnee Trail, Youngstown, OH, passed away at 1:30am on Friday, September 7, 2012 in St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown after an extended illness. She was 56. A loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, friend, partner, and soul mate, she will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was born August 1, 1956 in Sharon, a daughter of Ronald W. and Mary Lou Paulsen Kerr. She was a 1974 graduate of Sharon Senior High School. Jan was a woman of pure heart and soul and a Christian with high spiritual foundation. She had attended East High Baptist Church in Sharon. She had an intense sense of life and surroundings and was vivacious in life and spirit. She was a business woman, for a time owning her own business, and she was a very proud, idealistic giver of charities. She was a lover of the arts, and she enjoyed reading, nature, and animals. Most of all, Jan enjoyed her beloved family and friends and was very devoted to them. She is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Kerr, with whom she made her home; a son, Jonathan Runcan and his wife Erin of Lancaster, OH; her fiancée, Donald Randall, of Youngstown; a brother, Keith A. Kerr and his wife Joan of Cleveland; a sister, Renee Bobonick and her husband Tom of Austintown; a special aunt, Joan Kerr of Vienna; her special nieces, Hope and Mandy Bobonick; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
