James "Jim" Francis Yannesse Jr., Bazetta Township, Trumbull County, formerly of Sharon, passed away unexpectedly at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, in the emergency room at St. Joseph's Health Center, Warren, Ohio. He was 69. Jim was born Oct. 31, 1945, in Sharon, a son of James Sr. and Lottie Gladysz Yannesse. He was raised in Sharon and was a member of Sharon High School's graduating class of 1963. A self-employed business owner, he owned and operated Jim's Brushless Car Wash, Boardman, Ohio. He was a car enthusiast who loved old hot rods and anything to do with cars. He also enjoyed a good round of golf. Surviving are his father, James Yannesse Sr., Sharon; his best friend and companion of 20 years, Terri L. Grant, with whom he made his home; a daughter, Lisa L. Sowers and her husband Michael, Champion, Ohio; a brother, Richard Yannesse and his wife Doris, Hermitage; a granddaughter, Kayla M. Sowers, also Champion; and a nephew, Steven Yannesse, Edinburg. He was preceded in death by his mother. Calling hours: None. Service: None at this time. A private graveside service and interment of Jim's ashes will take place at a later date.
