James Andrew Perriello, 63, of Sharon, PA, (Sharpsville HS/Penn State graduate) passed away February 20, 2026, after a long-term battle with pancreatic cancer. He wanted to let everyone know that there is nothing peaceful about dying from cancer, except when the meds kick in, and you don’t know any better.
Born April 1, 1962, in Sharon, PA, he is survived by his wife, Francesca (Reda); his daughter, Isabella; and son, Luca. Jim is also survived by his mother, Mary Ann; and brothers, Anthony and John; with a few nephews and a niece sprinkled in. He was preceded in death by his dear old dad, John.
He traveled the country for 40 plus years in Electrical Design, building Fossil and Nuclear power plants.
James approached everything with a sense of humor and enjoyed breaking everybody’s stones and getting hit back. He always said, “If you can survive the dinner table at the Perriello’s, then you can survive anywhere.”
He loved baseball as it mirrored the trials and tribulations of life. There was nothing better for him than to be armchair coaching with a twinkle in his eyes from 300 feet away in the outfield, so he could yell at the umpires, kids, and the coaches.
At his wish, there will be no services because he knows people hate that stuff. Raise a glass if you want to and break his stones one last time. That’s it, THE END.
James asks that you please donate to a cause near and dear to his heart, The Singley Strong Foundation – Supporting Families Affected by Cancer, online at: https://thesingleystrongfoundation.org/.
