Obituary

James Joseph Morsillo, Hermitage, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Apache County, Arizona. He was 51.

Mr. Morsillo was born October 14, 1960 in Sharon, a son of James C. and Nancy J. Settle Morsillo.

He attended the former Notre Dame Parochial Grade School, Hermitage, and was a 1979 graduate of Hickory High School.

Jim studied electrical engineering while attending Penn State University, State College, PA and was an Electrical Industrial Engineer. He was employed by NLMK Steel, Farrell and had previously lived and worked in Phoenix, AZ and Charleston, SC.

Surviving are: his parents, Hermitage; his wife, the former Penny Stauffer and his son, Joseph David Morsillo, both Gilbert, AZ; a son, Morgan James Morsillo and grandson Mikael, Delaware; a sister, Cynthia L. Morsillo Rakestraw and her husband Thomas, Chippewa, PA; a brother, Daniel C. Morsillo and his wife Lori, Wheatland; a nephew, Benjamin T. Rakestraw; and four nieces, Kaitlyn Rakestraw, Elizabeth Morsillo, Amber Rager and Jennifer Likens.

Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Nichols Morsillo and Ralph and Leona Jones Settle; and two uncles, David T. Settle and Ralph L. Settle.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Joseph D. Morsillo Education Fund, c/o Shenango Valley Foundation, 33 Chestnut Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
