James "Jamie" Magnu, 65, of Farrell passed away early Tuesday morning, June 4, 2024, in Andover Village Nursing Home.
Jamie was born August 15, 1958, in Sharon, a son of the late James Vincent and Patricia Louise (Dziedzic) Magnu. He was a 1976 graduate of
Farrell High School and attended Penn State University, Shenango Valley Campus.
A retired steelworker, Jamie worked at Wheatland Tube for 36 years and was a member of U.S.W. Local 1660, Farrell.
He was of the Catholic faith and a former member of St. Adalbert Church in Farrell.
Jamie was an avid sports fan who loved to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates and talk sports, especially with his brother, Joey. He also enjoyed being outdoors fishing.
Jamie is survived by one brother, Joseph Magnu (Jessica), Bethel Park, PA; two nephews, Anthony and Alexander Magnu; a niece, Olivia Magnu; and several cousins.

Funeral service will be immediately following at 4 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Stanley Swacha, officiating.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Hermitage.
