James Ryan Kelly
2006 Hickory grad loved,
excelled at outdoor sports
James Ryan Kelly, of Hermitage, passed away at 7:28 p.m. Sunday (11- 29-15) in the emergency room of Sharon Regional Health Systems. He was 29.
Mr. Kelly was born in Warren, Ohio, on Sept. 22, 1986, the son of James and Stacey Ifft Kelly. He was a 2006 graduate of Hickory High School.
James was employed in the housekeeping department of Orange Village Care Center. James was of Christian faith. He excelled at anything that he put his mind to, whether it was BMX bike racing, snowboarding or water-skiing. He loved spending time outdoors with friends and family.
James was preceded in death by paternal grandma, Priscilla Jean Kelly, and maternal grandfather, Timothy L. Ifft.
He is survived by his mother, Stacey (Mark) Duvall, Hermitage; his father James Kelly, Vienna, Ohio; two sisters Melissa Kelly, Sharpsville, and Harley Hrifko, Brookfield; a step-sister, Tara Duvall, Girard; a step-brother Mark J. Duvall, Brookfield; maternal grandmother, Kathy Swartz, Brookfield; paternal grandfather, Richard Kelly, Liberty, Ohio; step-grandparents William and Margaret Duvall, Kissimmee, Fla.; a niece, Maela Thompson; a nephew, Gunner Hills; an aunt, Doreen Cheza of Brookfield; and a godson, Anthony Cline.
