Former Linwood, N.J., resident James F. Henle, 72, of Brigadoon Lane passed away at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, in Jameson Hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1939, in New Castle, he was a son of the late James F. and Lois Sizer Henle. He attended New Castle High School. Retiring in 2002, Mr. Henle was employed for more than 40 years as a concrete truck driver with Penn-Jersey Building Materials in New Jersey. Upon his retirement, he and his wife moved to New Castle. He was a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Church. A Navy veteran, Mr. Henle also was a former member of the American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards. He is survived by his loving wife, the former W. Marla Dorner, whom he married Aug. 29, 1970; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul V. and Bonnie Henle of Cape May County, N.J., and James R. and Tracy Henle of Somers Point, N.J.; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Al Hodge, Ethel and David Dean, Judith and Richard Caparoula and Nancy and Dan Wellman, all of New Castle; four grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Paul and Connell Henle; and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. There are no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Mary, Mother of Hope Church with the Rev. William P. Siple as celebrant. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will conduct military rites following the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, N.J.
