James P. Fee, 72, of New Castle passed away the morning of Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at Golden Hill Nursing Home. James was born Nov. 28, 1943, in New Castle, a son of the late Thomas R. and Frances Babe Quinn Fee. He was a 1963 graduate of New Castle High School. James served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1967. James retired from the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers Compensation as an adjuster. He was a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish. James is survived by a daughter, Deanna Fee; four sons, Charles (Heather) Fee of Kuwait, Douglas Fee of Butler, Patrick (Allison) Fee of Pittsburgh and Mark Fee of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Logan and Chloe Fee. Also surviving are five sisters, Patricia Csiszer of California, Mary Catherine Brunton of Niles, Ohio, Frances Skinner of Arizona, Helene Pavlov of New Bedford and Rita McGrath of Tennessee; three brothers, Michael Fee of Hawaii, John Fee of Arizona and Terry Fee of New Castle. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by four brothers, Ambrose Fee, Gerald Fee, Charles Fee and Thomas J. Fee. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 W. Falls St. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for St. Mary Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Frank Almade, Pastor.
