Obituary
James M. DelFratte of Hermitage passed away Tuesday evening, November 29, 2016, following a brief illness. He was 56.
Mr. DelFratte was born April 25, 1960, in Sharon, a son of James V. and Patricia Young DelFratte. He was a lifelong area resident and attended Hickory High School.
He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing.
He loved spending time with his family, particularly the time he shared with his granddaughters, and will be dearly missed by all.
Surviving are: his fiancé, Karen (Carney) Cope, Farrell; a daughter, Jessica Medvec and her husband Joseph, Sharon; a son, Justin DelFratte, Pittsburgh; his parents, James V. and Patricia DelFratte, Hermitage; a sister, Terri L. Nuel, Sharpsville; a brother, David B. DelFratte and his wife Gina, Sharon; two granddaughters, Mila and Haley Medvec, three nieces; and three nephews.
Calling hours will be 4 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday (12-4-16) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of HIS Gospel Ministries, Hermitage, officiating. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
