James J. Callahan

James J. “Jimmy” Callahan, 65, of Sharpsville, passed away Tuesday evening, June 30, 2026, in his home.

Jimmy was born on November 28, 1960, in Sharon, a son of the late James E. and Doris A. (Mittler) Callahan. He was a 1979 graduate of Hickory High School.

He followed in his father’s footsteps and eventually took over his business, the former Sunshine Window Cleaning.

Jimmy was of the Catholic faith.

An avid hunter, he took any opportunity he had to chase whatever game was in season. He also enjoyed spending time at his camp in Warren, PA, along the Allegheny River.

He is survived by a sister, Denise Hubicz and her husband, Raymond; a brother, Brian Callahan, all of Hermitage; and a niece, Jennifer Pander and her husband, Joel.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Callahan.

In keeping with Jimmy’s wishes, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date at his camp.
