Obituary

A funeral service will be held Monday for James W. Biros, Greenfield Road, New Wilmington, who walked through the pearly gates, into the arms of his Savior, early Thursday morning, Jan. 22, 2015. He was 83. Mr. Biros was born Dec. 16, 1931, in New Wilmington, a son of George and Helen Wanchock Biros. A lifelong area resident, he graduated from New Wilmington High School. His wife, the former Florence Ward Biros, whom he married in May 1985, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, 2014. He, along with his wife and his close friend Ron Ligo, created, owned and operated two Christian companies, Green Supreme and Son-Rise Publications. A devout Christian, he worshiped in many local ministries and was a member of Cedar Avenue Bible Church, Sharon. He is survived by: his two daughters, Joyce Antos and her husband Roger, Sharpsville; and Jill Little and her husband Bill, Maryland, two sons, Dale Biros and his wife Ellen, Michigan; and Alan Biros, Maryland; eight grandchildren, Brian Biros, Jeannette (Chris) Anderson, Carrie (Rob) Hoffman, John and Joseph Little, and Michael, Elizabeth and Matthew Biros; four great-grandchildren, Mason, Alexandria, Austen and Shane; two stepdaughters, Diana Kuhlber and her husband David, Grove City; and Nancy Ceremuga and her husband Gary, Transfer; a stepson, Walter Kilgore and his wife Billene, Sharpsville; and four stepgrandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. He also leaves Gail Saxon and Debbie Schall and his entire staff, whom he considered his extended family. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Crossing Paths Ministries, 670 Dutch Lane, Hermitage, PA 16148. Calling hours: 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday (1-25-15) in J. BRADLEY McGONIGLE FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY Inc., 1090 E. State St. Sharon. Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday (1-26-15) in Clark Trinity United Methodist Church, 96 Charles St., Clark, with the Rev. Donald P. Wilson, Waynesburg University, officiating. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church Monday morning. Interment: Neshannock Presbyterian Cemetery, New Wilmington.
