Irene B. Harrison, of Sharon passed away peacefully Monday (10 - 12 - 15) at 8:25 a.m. in St.John XXIII Home, Hermitage. She was 87. Irene was born in Sharon on June 7, 1928, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Stawarz Supel. A life-long area resident, she graduated from Sharon High School, class of 1947. Irene worked as a head teller for the former McDowell Bank and for First National Bank. She also was an office manager at Nick Strimbu Trucking, Brookfield, OH. She was a member of St. Stainislaus Kostka - Holy Trinity Church, Sharon. Her husband Donald Clifford Harrison whom she married on August 5, 1950, passed away August 1, 2006. Surviving are; two daughters, Jill A. Rock, Vienna, OH; and Lynn S. Paoletta and her husband John, Hermitage, two granddaughters , MaliaLani and Amoreena Paoletta. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Theodore Supel; and a nephew, Theodore Supel. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donors choice.
