Ilene M. Yudt

Ilene M. Yudt, 78, of Reynolds, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Clepper Manor, Sharon.

Mrs. Yudt was born on November 27, 1947, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Emanuel and Theresa (Kraynak) Whorton. A lifelong area resident, she attended Sharon High School.

Ilene was a workshop supervisor for more than 27 years at the Keystone Blind Association, Hermitage.

She enjoyed reading, doing ceramics and working on puzzles.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Phillip Yudt, whom she married on July 19, 1969; two sons, Brian A. Yudt and his wife, Ruth, of Greenville, and Phillip J. ‘PJ” Yudt, III, and his wife, Vanessa, of Mt. Ariel, PA; a granddaughter, Savannah Yudt; a sister, Edna Mae Derrenbacher, of Hermitage; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ilene was preceded in death by four brothers, Daniel, Elmer, Robert and Richard Whorton; and two sisters, Dorothy Esmond and Etta Schell.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Keystone Blind Association, 3056 East State St., Hermitage, PA 16148.

Calling hour will be 11 a.m. until noon on Wednesday (04/15/2026) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon. 

Funeral service will immediately follow at noon on Wednesday, in the funeral home, with Deacon Marty Aubel, officiating.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
