Howard L. Cook, 81, of Sharpsville, passed away Friday morning, November 7, 2025, in Avalon Springs Care Center, Mercer.
Mr. Cook was born August 13, 1944, in Sharon, a son of the late Arthur and May (Taylor) Cook. He was a 1962 graduate of Sharpsville High School.
After high school, Howard owned and operated Cygnet Manufacturing until 1972. He later worked as a mechanic for Bortner Bus Company, Sharpsville, and ultimately retired from Greenville Tire in 2013.
He had a talent for woodwork, crafting rocking chairs and cabinets. He also made special toy boxes for each of his grandchildren. Howard loved to tinker, spend time in his garden, and playfully instigate his family.
He was a member of Family Life Church, Hermitage, where he regularly attended bible study.
On March 22, 1969, he married the former Lola Musser, who preceded him in death on March 17, 2023.
Howard is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Glenn) Babcock, Sharon, and Lorie Cook Burton, Youngstown, OH; sister, Esther Fox (Rick), Mercer; 11 grandchildren, Cassandra (Christian) Haiss, Glenn (Angela) Babcock, Jr., Noah (Allison) Babcock, Zakkary Marriotti, Kristina (Tim Clark) Marriotti, Justin Lassiter, Liam and Lucas Burton, Collin Rosa-Burton, and Lane and Logan Burton; nine great children, Bailey and Maddox Clark, Eliza, Emma and Everly Babcock, Waylon and Bo Haiss, Sylvie Babcock, and soon to be, Julian Clark; special family, April Kennedy and Bill Burton; caring neighbors, Adam and Cassie Jones, Dominick and Tina Commisso, Jim and Patricia Lapikas, and Steve and Kelly Shipman; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Cook; and grandson, Lochlan Burton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Family Life Church, 1455 North Keel Ridge Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.

Calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday (11/13/25) in Family Life Church, Hermitage.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, in the church, with Rev. Chris Massey, pastor, officiating.
