Holly Noel Lewis, 7745 Townline Road, Transfer, Pa., passed away at 12:20 a.m. Saturday (3-13-10) in the Intensive Care Unit at Sharon Regional Health System after a courageous battle with cancer, she was 32.
A lifelong area resident, Holly was born on November 12, 1977 in Sharpsville, the daughter of Mark A. and Cheryl Getway Lewis. She graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1996.
Holly worked for Health Care Solutions, Sharon, where she was a biller in their billing department for six years.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Church, Sharpsville.
When Holly was diagnosed with Anaplastic large cell lymphoma, she courageously decided to join the experimental program and make weekly trips to the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, MI, and she never gave up her battle.
She was a NASCAR fan always rooting for # 88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. She also enjoyed shopping, crafts, reading, and most of all spending time with her family including her niece and nephew whom she loved to tease.
She leaves her parents with whom she lived, her brother Jason M. Lewis and his fiancee Jacki Rygalski of Cortland, OH; her paternal grandparents, Ward and Margaret Lewis, Sharpsville, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and her aunt Gloria Shoener.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Cancer Care Center 2320 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148, or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Services: Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. Wednesday (3-17-10) in St. Bartholomew Church, Sharpsville, with the Rev. Matthew Kujawinski, pastor, as celebrant. A brief prayer service will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home prior to leaving for the church.
Interment: Holy Trinity R. C. Cemetery, Hermitage.
