Henry "Hank" R. Mucroski, 94, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025, in UPMC Hospital, Greenville.
Mr. Mucroski was born August 14, 1930, in Sharon, a son of the late Nicholas and Helen (Berkos) Mucroski.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Hank served on a destroyer during the Korean War.
For 42 years, he worked at Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant as an electrical motor inspector in the finishing department.
Hank was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
He was a 32nd Degree Free and Accepted Mason and member of the Kedron Lodge, 389, West Middlesex. Hank was also a life-member of the Hickory Volunteer Fire Dept.
Hank's favorite title in life was "Grandpa," cherishing every moment he spent with his grandchildren.
His beloved wife of 64 years, Janet (Sherwood) Mucroski, whom he married on December 31, 1958, preceded him in death on May 4, 2023.
Hank is survived by two sons, Marc Mucroski (Vicki), West Middlesex, and Doug Mucroski (Shari), Howland, OH; and two grandchildren, Kyle (Marissa) and Emily Mucroski.
In addition to his wife and parents, Hank was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Deborah Anne Mucroski.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Paul's Home, 339 East Jamestown Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday (4-22-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
A funeral service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment: Morefield Cemetery, Hermitage.
