Helen D. Ondic, 71, of Sharon passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday morning, February 14, 2025, in her home.

Mrs. Ondic was born August 25, 1953, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Oliver C. and Marie E. (Catron) Randall.

A homemaker for many years, she worked as a nurse's aide at O'Brien Memorial Home and Sharon Regional Hospital earlier in life.

Helen enjoyed listening to country music, adored horses, and enjoyed watching her daily soap operas and old western movies. Her greatest joy in life was being a "G-Ma" to her beloved grandchildren who she adoringly watched over and protected.

Her husband of 35 years, Raymond R. Ondic, whom she married on October 28, 1989, survives at home.

Helen is also survived by two daughters, Diana Ondic, Sharon, Amber Prokop (Andrew), Stow, OH, and Lisa Randall, of Florida; three sons, Mark Randall (Cristin), Liberty, OH, Anthony Ondic, Sharon, and Raymond Ondic (fiancé, Danielle), Salem, OH; a sister, Carole Richmond, Boardman, OH; a brother, Robert Randall, Youngstown, OH; and numerous beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Taylor; and a brother, Richard Randall.

Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday (2-18-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m., in the funeral home, with Rev. Dennis Blauser, officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
