Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Jamison of Hermitage passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 10:30 p.m. in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System with her family by her side. She was 85.
She was born on September 11, 1926 in Grove City, PA, the daughter of Henry C. and Edna Mae Hoagland Kilgore.
Helen was a 1944 graduate of Grove City High School.
In 1987 Helen retired after 28 years as a waitress and cook at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant, Hermitage.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Harrisville, PA. Her family, especially her grandchildren brought the greatest joy to her life.
Helen is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia M. and her husband Kenneth Clark of Sharon, and Helen L. Augustine of Sharon, PA; 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, Katie, Jennifer, Jessica, Carla, and Joseph; She is also survived by 4 great granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Blakely; a brother, Richard Kilgore.
In keeping with Helen's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Cremation will take place in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
